The announcement came during a midterm campaign rally held at the University of South Alabama in Mobile. The president is anticipated to be at Bryant-Denny Stadium for the October 10 contest, where the seventh-ranked Crimson Tide will host the second-ranked Bulldogs. Both squads enter the game with undefeated records, positioning them as leading contenders for the national championship. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET, with national broadcast coverage provided by ABC.
Recent Rivalry History
These Southeastern Conference rivals faced off twice during the previous season. Alabama secured a narrow 24-21 victory in their regular-season encounter played in Athens. However, Georgia later delivered a decisive 28-7 win in the SEC Championship Game. That conference title triumph advanced Bulldogs coach Kirby Smart's record against the Crimson Tide to 2-7.
President Trump previously attended a notable contest between these two teams in 2024, also held in Tuscaloosa. In that game, Alabama established a substantial 28-point lead before ultimately clinching a 41-34 win.
