Head coach John Harbaugh previously confirmed Dart would miss the remainder of the regular season. In the wake of this development, prominent sports agent Leigh Steinberg has offered strategic advice to the 23-year-old signal-caller, urging him to consider his broader career trajectory.

Prioritizing Long-Term Recovery

Steinberg stressed the importance of a comprehensive approach to Dart's recuperation.

"I think the key is to look at the long-term interests of Jaxson Dart, which are the same as the long-term interests of the Giants, and get the best medical advice, get the best operation,"

Steinberg stated in a recent interview. He further advised the young quarterback to

"put all your energy and effort into rehabbing because the truth is Jaxson Dart will have a long and illustrious career."

The injury occurred during the Giants' 28-6 Week 2 defeat against the Los Angeles Rams. Dart sustained the blow when he was hit simultaneously by two defenders—one striking him low and another high—with a Rams edge rusher impacting his knee at an awkward angle. "Does the fact that there’s no offseason hitting and very little playing in training camp for starters make them more susceptible to being in shape, but not yet in football shape?"

"Meaning having taken the number of hits, it makes them more susceptible to injuries."
