U.S. men’s national team forward Folarin Balogun made a significant impact during Wednesday's World Cup Round of 32 encounter against Bosnia and Herzegovina, scoring a key goal and celebrating with a notable tribute.

Balogun initially found the back of the net earlier in the match, but the effort was disallowed due to an offside call. Undeterred, he capitalized on his next opportunity as halftime approached, breaking through the Bosnian defense to receive a precise pass from Malik Tillman. He converted the chance, giving the United States a 1-0 lead.

Following his successful strike, Balogun honored NBA superstar LeBron James, performing James’s distinctive "silencer" celebration.

This crucial goal allowed the U.S. squad to enter halftime with a one-goal advantage, positioning them just 45 minutes away from advancing to the Round of 16. Balogun's tally now stands at three goals in the current tournament.
