The incident occurred when she collided at full speed with a screen set by Liberty forward Jonquel Jones. During a defensive sequence near the basket, New York's Breanna Stewart extended her arm while attempting to contest a shot. Replays clearly indicated Stewart's hand making contact with the side of Clark's face.
